Nepal Billionaire: Rebuilding After Flood to Cost $5B

Binod Chaudhary, Chairman and President of Chaudhary Group, stated on Bloomberg that rebuilding Nepal's infrastructure following a flash flood this week could cost at least $5 billion. Chaudhary said his group will spend more on reconstruction efforts than it did following the 2015 earthquake. He did not specify the exact amount his group plans to commit to the current rebuilding effort.
