4,000% Options Surge in 15 Minutes Shows Wild India Auction

India's stock exchange implemented a new closing-auction system for options trading. On an unspecified date, options prices increased approximately 4,000 percent within 15 minutes during the closing auction, then declined by a similar magnitude.
