Nasa launches mission to save falling space telescope

A robot funded by NASA launched to intercept a falling space telescope in orbit and propel it toward a safe trajectory before atmospheric reentry. The mission involved a spacecraft designed to rendezvous with the telescope and alter its orbital path. NASA has not yet announced whether the spacecraft successfully made contact with the telescope.
