Ron DeSantis Says Flock Cameras Are 'Quickly' Popping Up: We Don't Want to 'Become a Surveillance State'

Gov. Ron DeSantis said Flock surveillance cameras are being deployed at an increasing rate in Florida communities. DeSantis told reporters that Floridians have valid reasons to monitor the expansion of the camera network and cited instances in which law enforcement misused the system, including a police officer using cameras to track an ex-girlfriend. DeSantis stated he does not want Florida to become a surveillance state.
