Bangladesh Muslims Threaten Action in Venice over Mosque Permit Denial

A Muslim community group in Venice, Italy requested a permit to build a mosque in the Mestre borough and was denied by local authorities. Members of the community said they plan to stage a strike in response to the denial. The permit application was submitted by Bengali Muslims living in the area.
