Governor Landry backs Lane Kiffin, LSU in fight with SEC: ‘Don’t Hate The Player, Hate The Game’

Louisiana Governor Jeff Landry said he backs LSU football coach Lane Kiffin and basketball coach Will Wade in their opposition to SEC rules restricting former professional athletes from returning to college sports. LSU abstained from voting on the conference's ban of such athletes. Landry said in a statement, "Don't Hate The Player, Hate The Game," referring to the SEC guidelines.
