Convicted Bosnian Serb war criminal Mladić dies aged 84

Ratko Mladić, a Bosnian Serb military leader convicted of genocide, war crimes, and crimes against humanity, died at age 84. Mladić was sentenced to life in prison in 2017 by the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia for his role in the 1992-95 wars. He was convicted in connection with the siege of Sarajevo and the massacre at Srebrenica during the Bosnian War.
