Ratko Mladic, Murderous ‘Butcher of Bosnia,’ Dies at 83

Ratko Mladic, a general during the 1990s Balkan wars, died at age 83. He was convicted by the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia of crimes including the killing of approximately 8,000 Muslims at Srebrenica in 1995. Mladic had been serving a life sentence.
