Coast Guard seizes 7K pounds of cocaine worth more than $54 million near Puerto Rico, five arrested

The U.S. Coast Guard seized 7,250 pounds of cocaine valued at $54.5 million from a vessel intercepted off the coast of Puerto Rico. Five individuals were arrested in connection with the seizure. The Coast Guard did not release additional details about the location or timing of the interception.
