Total Eyes $1.3 Billion Loan Repayment as It Exits Arctic LNG 2

TotalEnergies SE completed its exit from Arctic LNG 2, a liquefied natural gas project in Russia subject to US sanctions. The company said it may receive approximately $1.3 billion in reimbursement for loans provided to the project. TotalEnergies had previously announced plans to withdraw from the venture following sanctions imposed in response to Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
