Fortescue Mulls Debut Panda Bond Sale Despite China Tensions

Australian iron ore miner Fortescue Ltd. is considering a debut panda bond sale to raise approximately 3 billion yuan, equivalent to about $446 million, according to reports. A panda bond is a yuan-denominated bond issued in mainland China by a foreign company. Fortescue has not made a final decision on the offering.
