Euro-Zone Business Activity Revised Up to Stagnation for June
Friday, July 3, 2026
Business activity in the euro area expanded less than initially reported in June, with the bloc's composite purchasing managers' index revised to 50.1 from a preliminary reading of 49.9, according to data released by S&P Global. An index reading of 50 marks the threshold between expansion and contraction. The revision reflected stronger-than-expected performance in the services sector, which offset weakness in manufacturing.
