Hosepipe ban for Hampshire and Isle of Wight

Southern Water introduced a hosepipe ban for customers in Hampshire and Isle of Wight. The restriction follows a similar ban announced by South East Water. Both water companies cited supply concerns as the reason for the measures. Customers affected are prohibited from using hosepipes for watering gardens, washing vehicles, or filling swimming pools.
