Missouri grandma ordered to stop serving free breakfasts refuses to back down, 'They are my family'

Kathy Kite of Harrisburg, Missouri received a letter from the health department requiring her to obtain a permit to serve breakfast. Kite stated she would continue serving the meals and referred to those she feeds as "my family." The health department's letter specified permit requirements for food service operations. Kite has not stated when or if she intends to apply for the required permit.
