Hochul remains defiant after sheriffs sue over law banning cooperation with ICE: 'Bring it on'

More than a dozen New York sheriffs filed a lawsuit against state officials regarding a state law that prohibits law enforcement from cooperating with Immigration and Customs Enforcement. The law prevents sheriffs from honoring ICE detention requests or sharing certain information with federal immigration authorities. Governor Kathy Hochul responded to the lawsuit by stating "Bring it on" at a public event.
