California school district sued over field trip to mosque where students allegedly donned Muslim garb

A lawsuit was filed against Palo Alto Unified School District over a field trip to a mosque where students were given hijabs and Qurans, according to court filings. The parents who filed the suit stated the students participated in the activity without parental consent. The field trip occurred in the previous school year.
