Renk Group AG, a German industrial machinery maker, is in advanced negotiations to acquire David Brown Defence, a privately held British defence company, according to Reuters. The acquisition would expand Renk Group's operations in naval defence manufacturing. David Brown Defence specializes in naval gearboxes and propulsion systems.
