Clinton-appointed judge triggers appeal after blocking key voter citizenship law

U.S. District Judge Alison Nathan, appointed by President Bill Clinton, blocked Ohio's voter registration citizenship proof law on federal grounds. Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose announced he would appeal the ruling. The law required proof of citizenship at voter registration.
