Triathlete channels his inner 'Three Stooges' to escape harrowing alligator attack in South Carolina

Jonathan Bruney gouged an alligator's eye while being attacked in South Carolina's Savannah River during Ironman triathlon training. Bruney was able to escape the attack by inflicting the injury to the animal's head. The incident occurred during his preparation for the Ironman competition.
