Trump orders flags to be lowered for Dolly Parton

President Donald Trump issued an order on February 6, 2026, to lower U.S. flags to half-staff following the death of Dolly Parton. Trump wrote on Truth Social: "There has never been anyone like her, and never will." Parton, the country music singer and philanthropist, died at age 99.
