Two unvaccinated individuals died from measles in Pennsylvania, state health officials confirmed. The deaths mark the first measles fatalities in the state in several years. Pennsylvania Department of Health officials attributed the cases to low vaccination rates in specific communities. Measles is a viral infection that can cause fever, rash, cough, and in severe cases, pneumonia and encephalitis.
