DHS acknowledges the noncitizen numbers it touted on voter rolls were inflated

The Department of Homeland Security stated that noncitizen voter data it previously publicized was preliminary. The administration had claimed 250,000 noncitizens were on voter rolls across four states, but subsequent communications between DHS and state election officials indicated the figure required revision. DHS did not provide a corrected total in its acknowledgment of the discrepancy.
