DHS conducted far-reaching surveillance during Minnesota ICE surge, court documents show

Department of Homeland Security personnel attended community meetings, subpoenaed financial records from labor unions, and compiled information on attendees at a church gathering during an immigration enforcement operation in Minnesota, according to documents filed in court. The court filings did not specify the dates of these activities or the scope of the operation. DHS has not publicly commented on the allegations.
