The United Kingdom will share classified technical information with Ukraine to assist in manufacturing long-range SCALP missiles, according to Andy Burnham, who announced the arrangement during a visit to Kyiv on Ukraine's Independence Day. The British defense firm MBDA will provide details on U.K.-made components used in the SCALP system to enable Ukraine to assemble the weapons domestically. SCALP is a cruise missile system currently operated by the British military.
