GM vehicles under federal scrutiny after hundreds of reports

General Motors vehicles equipped with the eBoost brake-by-wire system have been the subject of federal investigation following at least 22 reported crashes. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has received hundreds of complaints related to the system. GM has not announced a recall as of the report date.
