Hayden Panettiere’s mom discloses heartbreaking ultimatum in their final phone call before actress’ death

Lesley Ussher, mother of actress Hayden Panettiere, disclosed that a therapist recommended she issue an ultimatum to her daughter regarding her relationship with Brian Hickerson. Ussher said the ultimatum contributed to a period of estrangement between them that lasted months before Panettiere's death in February 2023. Panettiere died at age 28; the coroner determined the cause was accidental asphyxiation from ingesting alcohol and prescription drugs.
