Shipping Oil Through Hormuz Costs $20 Million, Total CEO Says

Patrick Pouyanne, chief executive of TotalEnergies SE, stated that shipping oil cargoes on a supertanker through the Strait of Hormuz costs approximately $20 million. The statement was made in reference to economics of shipping routes used by traders and shipowners in the region.
