Brake problems in GM EVs draw greater federal scrutiny

Federal regulators are investigating brake-related complaints in General Motors electric vehicles. A driver of a 2024 Blazer EV reported in a complaint that they steered the vehicle into a concrete curb to slow it down after experiencing brake issues. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is reviewing multiple reports of brake problems across GM's EV lineup. GM has not yet announced a recall related to these complaints.
