Birth tourism scams draw sweeping crackdown as visa revocations climb

The State Department established a Birth Tourism and Prevention Task Force that has revoked more than 750 visas. The task force monitors travel patterns internationally to identify individuals suspected of entering the United States for the purpose of giving birth to obtain citizenship for their children.
