Illinois officer convicted in Sonya Massey killing has died, lawyer says

Sean Grayson, an Illinois police officer convicted in the July 2024 death of Sonya Massey, has died, according to his lawyer. Massey called 911 to report a prowler before Grayson shot her. Grayson had been diagnosed with colon cancer, though his cause of death has not been released.
