Humanoid robots smash Usain Bolt’s 100-meter record

Tiangong Ultra, a humanoid robot developed by the Beijing Humanoid Robot Innovation Center, completed a 100-meter dash in 9.39 seconds at the World Humanoid Robot Games in Beijing on Saturday. A second robot, Lightning, developed by Honor, finished the same distance in 9.47 seconds. These times are faster than Usain Bolt's 100-meter record of 9.58 seconds, set in 2009.
