Fire Near Reno, Nev., Prompts Evacuations of Homes and Hospitals

The Hawk fire had burned more than 10,000 acres as of the report date and was moving toward the northern part of Reno. Nevada Governor Joe Lombardo issued a state of emergency declaration in response. Evacuations of homes and hospitals in the affected area were ordered.
