A banking authentication method called MagicalAuth by Glide.id uses cryptographic SIM credentials to verify logins without sending SMS one-time passwords. Traditional SMS codes can be intercepted or obtained through phishing. The system stores verification credentials directly on a device's SIM card instead of transmitting codes via text message.
