AI Takes Center Court at the US Open

IBM and the US Open expanded their use of artificial intelligence technology at the tournament to provide real-time match insights to fans, including personalized updates, an AI assistant, and win probability calculations updated after each point. IBM Senior Vice President Jonathan Adashek and former tennis player Sam Querrey discussed the technology on Bloomberg This Weekend. The AI system provides players and coaches data for opponent analysis and match strategy, and reached more than 14 million digital users following the tournament.
