This is where Captain Kidd buried his treasure

A descendant of Captain William Kidd stated that the pirate buried 40 pounds of gold and jewels on Long Island. The descendant suggested additional treasure may be hidden at other locations along the East Coast. Captain Kidd was executed in 1701 for piracy.
