Supreme Court Keeps Trump Ballroom Work Going

Chief Justice John Roberts issued a temporary order allowing construction of a White House ballroom project to proceed while the Supreme Court decides whether to grant a longer stay. Lower courts had determined the project required congressional authorization. The Supreme Court is also considering separate challenges involving Trump's mail ballot order and anticipated litigation over new Canada tariffs.
