Schumer ducks question on campaigning with socialist candidate who refuses to back him as leader

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer declined to commit to campaigning with Michigan Democratic Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed when asked by reporters. Schumer said El-Sayed "brings new energy to the Democratic Party." El-Sayed has stated he will not support Schumer as Democratic leader in the Senate.
