Democrats remain far behind GOP in cash on hand as midterms near

The Democratic National Committee had more than $100 million less cash on hand than the Republican National Committee according to recent Federal Election Commission filings. The DNC also carried millions of dollars in outstanding debts. The filings were made as the 2026 midterm election cycle approached.
