Critical Metals CEO and Executive Chairman Tony Sage stated in a Bloomberg interview that the United States remains years away from reducing dependence on China for rare-earth metals, citing processing capacity as the primary constraint. Sage said the company's Greenland project is on schedule to begin production in 2029. Bloomberg reported that Sage characterized the delay in establishing domestic supply as a geopolitical risk.
