Tesla sunsets its Solar Roof tiles

Tesla discontinued its Solar Roof product, which consisted of solar panels designed to resemble standard roofing tiles. Electrek reported that Tesla notified its installer network that Solar Roof is no longer available for order and that the company will supply only conventional solar panels going forward. Tesla has not publicly announced the discontinuation or provided a stated reason for the decision.
