Red-state senator drops hammer on Dem mayor over new 'woke' DEI ordinance while violent crime surges

Sen. Bernie Moreno, R-Ohio, sent a letter to Cincinnati Mayor Aftab Pureval requesting information about a city ordinance related to diversity requirements in procurement processes. Moreno asked the mayor to explain the ordinance's implementation and costs. The letter was sent as Cincinnati has experienced increases in reported violent crime. Pureval's office has not yet responded to the senator's inquiry.
