Trump says Michael Cohen was 'weaponized' by mainstream media in surprise radio reunion

President Donald Trump said on a radio interview that Michael Cohen was weaponized by media outlets, in what was their first public conversation since 2017. Cohen, Trump's former lawyer, was convicted in 2018 of tax evasion, bank fraud, and campaign finance violations, and was released from prison in July 2021 after serving approximately 13 months. Trump and Cohen had not publicly spoken since before Cohen's conviction.
