Seattle Times columnist resigns after paper allegedly refused to run 'Save Women's Sports' column

Matt Calkins resigned from the Seattle Times after the newspaper did not publish a column he wrote about two student-athletes who oppose transgender athletes competing in women's sports. Calkins stated that the paper rejected the column. The Seattle Times did not immediately provide a public statement about the rejection or Calkins's resignation.
