Dem mayor torches DNC in scathing letter for 'abandoning' Black voters after convention snub

Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens sent a letter to Democratic National Committee leadership expressing disagreement with the decision to move the 2028 Democratic National Convention away from Atlanta. In the letter, Dickens stated that the party was abandoning the South and Black voters by making this choice. The DNC selected a different city to host the 2028 convention.
