Treasury Buyback Gives Gold Another Lease of Life, UBS Says

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent announced a plan to increase buybacks of longer-dated debt. UBS Chief Strategist Bhanu Baweja said in a Bloomberg Television interview that the buyback program could support gold prices by helping to keep longer-term bond yields lower.
