Chinese national in blue state charged with illegally voting in federal election under another man's name: DOJ

Yupeng Sun, a Chinese national, was charged with registering another Chinese national to vote in the 2024 presidential election in Massachusetts without that person's consent, according to the Department of Justice. Sun allegedly cast a ballot under the victim's name and subsequently reported the victim to immigration authorities. The charges were filed in federal court in Massachusetts.
