Drew Brees stated that Hurricane Katrina was a significant moment in his career and credited his faith and community support for helping him persevere. Brees joined the New Orleans Saints in 2006, the year after Hurricane Katrina struck in 2005. He remained with the team for 15 seasons, winning Super Bowl XLIV with the Saints in 2010.
