Freenet Nears Deal to Buy Out Minority Waipu.TV Investors

Freenet AG is in negotiations to acquire minority stakes in Waipu.TV, its television streaming platform, following the decision to not pursue a public listing. The German media company had previously considered taking Waipu.TV public before shifting strategy toward a buyout of outside investors.
