Google released the Pixel 11 Pro Fold in 2026. Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold 7, released in 2025, featured a thinner design compared to previous models, and the 2026 Galaxy Z Fold 8 made further thickness and weight reductions while reducing the display crease and introducing a new form factor. The Pixel 11 Pro Fold's design approach differed from these Samsung developments.
