Fauci scandal grows as top House committee accuses Biden Cabinet official of hiding COVID diary

House Committee on Oversight and Accountability Chairman James Comer requested information from Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra regarding Anthony Fauci's COVID-19 diary and cellphone, which Comer stated were not provided to Congress in 2023. Comer chairs the committee that has investigated Fauci's role in pandemic response policies. Becerra's office has not publicly responded to the request as of the report date.
